Originally constructed with local mountain stone in the 1930s, Chanticleer Inn looks the same on the outside but is very different on the inside today. Our 17 rooms within the Inn and the surrounding 5 cottages were completely renovated and remodeled in 2002. The new Innkeepers Robert and Audery Hart, will greet you with a friendly smile and serve you a wonderful breakfast.

With a large property, the Main Inn, and 5 cottages, we offer 17 rooms for any occasion. Each room has its own private entrance and patio. We cater especially to couples, corporate guests, romantic getaways, and in the summer to family vacations.

Whether you are driving on I-75 (or I-24), visiting Chattanooga's Tennessee Aquarium, seeing UTC or Covenant College, or just attending a meeting at the Chattanooga Convention Center, we hope to see you here. Many of our corporate guests are working with one of Chattanooga's corporations such as Chattem, TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority), Suntrust, or UnumProvident. We offer corporate discounts to these and many others.

Many guests chose to "stay and play" one of our local courses such as Lookout Mountain Golf club, The Honors Course, BlackCreek Golf club, or Chattanooga Golf and Country club. Others will enjoy the shopping at Warehouse Row, Southside Antiques, and Hamilton Place Mall. And after a long day we can recommend the perfect spa or restaurant.
