Marietta is the county seat of Cobb County, Georgia. The town is home to several attractions including a Six Flags White Water, which appeals to families. Marietta also boasts the Gone with the Wind Museum, also known as "Scarlett on the Square", which has a collection of memorabilia related to both the famous book and movie. Every November, the town hosts the Mt. Zion Craft Show, where visitors can view and purchase homemade crafts to accent their decor. The last Sunday each April, local cooks participate in a food festival, dishing up their specialties for over 50,000 diners. Marietta also offers several great restaurants such as Chicago's, which serves prime rib, seafood, and blackboard specials, or Vatica, serving Indian and vegetarian Thali cuisine for more adventurous eaters.
