His Rest Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful log cabin in a picturesque quiet country setting just outside of town. Come and relax with us in our luxuriously rustic log home built in 1977 and experience a day in the country, truly worth a month in the city. Nearby experience the fun and excitement of Eckert's Country Farms with pick your own vegetables and fruits or browse their Garden Center. Ravissant Winery is just down the road from us or visit the Looking Glass Playhouse or antique shops in the quaint little town of Lebanon. If golf is your passion, The Orchards Golf Course is just minutes away. Cahokia Mounds & Indian Burial Grounds/Pow Wows are not far from us. For the treasure seekers, Belleville flea markets and craft stores can be fun. You may want to have tea or lunch at the Gathering Place in Mascoutah.We are approximately 30 minutes from the World Shooting & Recreational Complex in Sparta, Illinois. Visit downtown St. Louis with unique restaurants and shopping malls then return to the quiet and peace filled country life. We truly have it all!!! |

Our great room features a massive stone fireplace where a full country breakfast is served each morning with a full view of the peaceful outdoors. Come relax by the fire where a two-course breakfast is served each morning in our main dining room. Delicious homemade goodies are available upon arrival along with soft drinks and snacks. His Rest Bed & Breakfast has a large deck and backyard patio where we feature a redwood cedar hot tub with an underwater woodburning stove. Plush robes and slippers are available in our rooms. |
