Introduction
Welcome to the Fowler House Bed and Breakfast located in the heart of Altus, Oklahoma.
In 1903, pioneer doctor, J. E. Fowler, built the Queen Anne style home as his family's residence and his place of business. What was once a pharmacy and waiting room is now our library, and the old hitching posts still stand in front of the east gate. It is easy to have a restful stay in our guest rooms, each with a hand-carved king size bed, premium linens, and a luxurious private bathroom. A good night sleep at the Fowler House is always followed by a full gourmet breakfast.
We welcome guests to lounge on the wrap-around porch or second floor terrace, cozy up with a book in the library, or gather with family and friends in the living and dining rooms. There is a plethora of interesting and beautiful places to explore in the local area. We are always happy to offer our recommendations and to assist you with your travel plans. We hope you enjoy your time in Jackson County and make the Fowler House a stop on your next visit.
