Guest Rooms/Rates

Cliffside Inn features a luxurious selection of 16 individually designed and decorated guest quarters, including a stunning collection of grand antique beds and an exotic array of bathing salons with whirlpool tubs and steam baths. To help match you with the perfect accommodation, we have grouped our rooms into three categories: Classic Rooms, State Rooms & Suites, and Deluxe Suites. Click on any category to see all the rooms in that style, with pictures, slides shows, and detailed information, including layout and square footage. All guest quarters are finely appointed with fireplaces, Italian linens, king or queen beds, Beatrice Turner artwork, and antiques. However, as you move up from our Classic Rooms to State Rooms, and the ultra luxury of our Deluxe Suites, room size, outdoor space, electronics and sound systems, bed and bath amenities, as well as rates, all increase proportionally. Our signature in-room spa treatment is available in select rooms.

Thirteen of Cliffside's guest quarters are located in the Victorian Manor House. The other three are found in Seaview Cottage, which is across the front lawn, on the other side of the circular drive.

Reservations & Cancellations

Reservation Policy - Reservations require an advance deposit of half the total due for two nights or more (including tax) with the balance due on arrival. Single night stays require pre-payment in full. Two-night minimum on weekends. Three-night minimum may apply on select Summer and Fall weekends, holiday and festival weekends. You can check availability and book online or call 800-845-1811 from 9 am to 6 pm.
Rates - Based on two person occupancy. Each additional guest -- where permissable -- is $50 extra per night. If you were not charged during your reservation, you will be charged at check-in. Rates do not include applicable taxes (13%). Rates range from $150 - $595. Weekend, holiday or special event surcharges may apply.
Cancellations - Unlike a large hotel, the small and specialized nature of Cliffside Inn necessitates a different kind of cancellation policy. Deposits are not refundable. If it is necessary for you to change or cancel your reservation, you will be given a rain check for a future stay at the Inn any time within one year provided request is made 15 days prior to the arrival date. If cancellation is made within the 15 days of the arrival date, you will forfeit your deposit. Regardless of when the cancellation is made, there is a 10% service fee on the entire amount of your deposit for any cancellations. No refunds for early departures.
Payment - Cash or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover). Advance deposit checks will only be accepted if they are received by the Inn 21 days before check-in date. Payment by personal check is not available at check-out.
No Smoking Policy - Cliffside Inn is a smoke-free Inn. Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the Inn, guest rooms, veranda or outdoor tables. Guests violating our in-room smoking policy will be charged a $250 cleaning fee. Fire codes prohibit the burning of candles in guest rooms.
Check-In Time is between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Check-out by 11:00 am. Late check-out may be available for an additional $50. Early check-in requests subject to room availability.
Getting Here - We are about 3� hours from New York, 1� hours from Boston and 2� hours from Hartford. The nearest airport is TF Green, just outside of Providence, which is half an hour away. For driving directions and Goole maps, check our directions page.
Other Policies - The Inn is not suitable for children under 13 or pets.
