Introduction

The Richards Bed & Breakfast in Narragansett is one of Rhode Island's most charming bed and breakfast inns. Looking like Sleeping Beauty's castle, the 8500 square foot home, built from stone quarried on the estate itself, resides in a beautiful area of South County that was once a rambling, two-hundred acre estate. Although the floor plan has stayed true to the original design, every inch of the mansion has been updated and restored. The house even includes a working elevator. The Richards have done most of the work themselves, including the gardens, which grow bigger each year with roses, a white garden, water garden with koi and a winter garden.

Blue Room Features a king bed, fireplace, and a private bath with separate tub and shower. $170 per night + Sales and Hotel Tax
The 2-Bedroom Suite Is located in the left wing and includes 2 full bedrooms, sitting room and a full bath. This suit sleeps up to four. $230 per night (4 people) + Sales & Hotel Tax
Yellow Room Features a queen canopy bed, fireplace, and a private hall bath. $145 per night + Sales & Hotel Tax
Lavender Room Features a queen canopy bed, private sitting room, fireplace, and a private bath with a tub and hand held shower. $160 per night + Sales & Hotel Tax

Rates & Policies
  • Rates quoted do not include Sales or Hotel Tax.
  • Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Open: All year.
  • Reservations: 2 weeks' notice required off-season, one month in season.
  • Minimum stay is 2 nights on weekends, 3 nights on holiday weekends, and 4 nights in August.
  • Payment: A 50% deposit is required. Personal checks accepted.
  • Cancellation Policy:
    • Cancellation notice must be received at least 3 weeks prior to scheduled arrival for refund of deposit, less a $25 processing fee.
    • If reservation is cancelled within 3 weeks of scheduled arrival, deposit will be refunded, minus processing fee, only if room is rebooked for the entire period of reservation.
  • No pets and no smoking inside the house.
  • Children over 12 are welcomed.
