Stagecoach House Country Inn

This historic building is located in the town of Richmond, village of Wyoming, Rhode Island. The original structure was once a stopover for the stagecoaches passing through Richmond. Weary travelers rested here for many years until the building became worn and rundown. The Stagecoach House Inn was completely renovated in 2001. There are two fireplaces that date back to the late 1700's along with beams and granite that decorate throughout the Inn. Accompanying the old, there are many new conveniences that make the Stagecoach House the warm and cozy country inn that it is today.

Features include a cozy lobby with rocking chairs in front of a large fireplace and a player piano for guests to enjoy. The front porch overlooks a garden of shrubs and trees that replicate the original landscaping. All rooms have air conditioning, remote-controlled gas fireplaces, and private baths with Jacuzzi tubs. A queen bed covered with a warm quilt awaits our tired guests. The upper deck river view is spectacular. Sit back on one of the Adirondack chairs and listen to the sounds of the waterfall and watch nature at its best. We also have a romantic "honeymoon suite" with a two-person Jacuzzi and double shower and a "family suite" with two separate connecting rooms, each with its own private bathroom. Also, at ground level, there is one handicapped-accessible room available.

In Rhode Island: I-95 (North or South), Take exit "3B" merge onto Route 138 West. Drive 1/2 mile to the Route 3 intersection. The Stagecoach House is on the right after the light.
