The Carriage House
The Carriage House offers four guestrooms within a 19th century house. Sometime after the turn of the century, additions were added which give
the house a bungalow architectural appearance.
The Carriage House has 11 ft. heart of pine beaded board ceilings and flooring throughout. A heart of pine archway centers the hall. A warm interior atmosphere results.
The Gathering Room, which at one time served as a summer sleeping porch, now serves as a resting spot where gaming boards/tables, period puzzles, or meals can be enjoyed in a light and airy setting.
Twelve windows with colorful and stylish window treatments, bamboo shades, a large comfy reading chair, and a leather sofa invite relaxation in this sunny garden room.
A fully equipped kitchen is within The Carriage House. Decorated in period style, the sink, cupboard & table are original to the house. The kitchen offers major appliances, various complimentary around the clock coffee and teas and views the woodland garden.
A shaded Southern front porch views the rear grounds of The Main House and has swings, rockers,large resting chairs and fans. Guest rooms are all ground level and are conveniently just steps away from parking.

For guests convenience, coin laundry facilities are available within The Carriage House. Guests can rest, enjoy a movie, relax by the pool, or wile away the time in comfort and pleasant surroundings while doing necessary laundry. We provide laundry supplies.

Things From The Attic
Named after Bonnie's former antique shop in Florida, Things From The Attic is conveniently located on the street level and is situated off the front portico. Shaded by dogwoods and magnolia, the rear grounds of The Main House can be viewed from this warm and welcoming room. A gateleg dropleaf table is roomy for paperwork or dining. Unusual with its ornate sconced oak mantel, the fireplace is a resting place for collectible decoratives. Two vintage reading chairs as well as a rocker and desk chair are within. The bath has a shower. Room palette is green, blue and beige, with black accents. . Beds: Double antique iron bed. Sleeps two. $120 Single or double. Plus 11% tax.
Cozy Carolina
Conveniently located on the street level, Cozy Carolina is situated off the front portico, is shaded by dogwoods and magnolia, and views the lush rear grounds of The Main House. Black and ecru French toile bedlinens and window treatments are complimented by French prints, needlepoints and an array of interesting artwork. The rooms spacious and versatile table is ideal for workspace or dining.
Cozy Carolina has two lovely period reading chairs...one with a down cushion. The living area decor is reflected in the bathroom which offers a shower. Lovely designer robes in the color scheme of the room can be found within the closet. Palette: Black, ecru, red and chartreuse. Beds: Double antique iron bed. Sleeps two. $120 Single or double. The Savannah Room
Throughout the 1988 restoration of The Carriage House, this room was referred to as "The Savannah Room". Much of what is within was collected over the years in Savannah, Georgia, including a great architectural transom and the feet on the clawfooted tub/shower. The decor is masculine. Walls are indigo blue in color with brown and beige paisley wallpaper. Audubon prints, along with clipper and other pleasant old artwork, adorn the walls. The fireplace has a pine mantel original to the house. Another interesting architectural focal is an alcove which houses old luggage and other interesting decorative's. A desk and reading chairs are within. Conveniently located on the street level, just steps away from parking. Bed: A double. Sleeps two $120 Single or double. Plus 11% tax.
Hewes of Blue
Conveniently located on the street level, Hewes of Blue was named in honor of a couple from Connecticut who visit for two weeks each Spring. Our claim is that George Washington never slept here, but Peter and Edna Hewes have. Floral inlays grace an 1800's bedset. Colored with hues..."Hewes"...of blue and yellow, the walls are delft printed. The bathroom has a clawfooted tub with a shower. Fireplace tiles are cobolt blue handpainted delft. Two reading chairs, a desk and a three mirrored vanity are within the room. Beds: Two twins. Sleeps two. $120 Single or double. Plus 11% tax.
