About Your Hosts
Wesley, a CPA, was raised on a New Jersey farm where he established a love for wood and hard work. He later moved with his family to Florida. Bonnie is a fourth generation Floridian.
"As far back as I can recall, I had a strong desire to be a homemaker. By ten, I had begun to cook, and by fifteen, I began collecting what has since turned out to be a vast collection of antiques and collectibles.
"Wesley and I met in 1978. Our engagement period was spent completely restoring what was to be our first home. It was during this initial project that restoration got into our blood and appears to have remained."
In 1988, while on a three week vacation/search for an old treasure to restore, Wesley and Bonnie discovered the Inn for sale in COUNTRY LIVING MAGAZINE. They purchased the Inn, Wesley sold his practice, Bonnie closed her antique shop, and they, along with their two children, moved from Florida's West Coast into a world that would never be the same...the enriching world of innkeeping.
"ENJOYING OUR 18TH YEAR AS INNKEEPERS!, we eagerly look forward to
continue welcoming folks from all over the world into our homes, your
havens. Our lives are deeply enriched on a daily
basis by those who choose to lay their heads for a night, or two, or
three, or more. You too become a part of the Inn's history."
