Saturday evening dining at Blair House is truly a unique experience. Each menu is carefully crafted after checking with local vendors for the freshest quality ingredients. Our dinners are open to the public. We invite those in the community and guests from other inns to join us. Please call us for a reservation. Should it be necessary to cancel your dinner reservation, we request the courtesy of 48 hours notification. Price: $62 per person; plus sales tax and a 20% gratuity. Saturday Evening Dinner is served at 7:30 p.m. Blair House offers a variety of picnic baskets to our guests that can be enjoyed in your room, under a shade tree on our grounds, at a scenic overlook or by the river. Each basket is prepared in house by our chef, and should be ordered at least 48 hours in advance. |

Cooking School at Blair House is a hands-on experience where learning technique is paramount. Our goal is to build your confidence in the kitchen by teaching you principles and techniques from how to purchase and store the freshest seasonal foods, to preparation and presentation. Once you understand the principles of the chemistry of what you are doing, you are ready to be creative in your own right. You'll go home with a manual filled with information on principles and techniques and many recipes and ideas to help stimulate your creativity in the kitchen. We have a lot of fun and tap into everyone's creative energy. Be sure to wear sturdy closed-toe shoes, casual clothes, and bring your appetite!

Blair House Art Gallery proudly presents an outstanding collection of art from artists around the region and the country. From the incredible, light-catching sculpted glass of artist Bill Meek to the thought-provoking original oils and giclees of Ros Hill, Blair House offers a unique look at the talents of the many artists of Wimberley and beyond. Skillfully incorporated into the decor of the main lodge, the Blair House Art Gallery is open to the public from 11 am to 5 pm. Original works also adorn the walls of each room, giving our guests their own ever changing, private gallery. To allow the public to see the entire collection, we open all the rooms for special showings throughout the year along with an artists' reception. This unique opportunity to meet the artists as well as numerous guest artists is one more way we help these great talents reach out to the community. |
