The Windsor house, so named for Mrs. Gertrude Windsor of Tyler, Texas, who purchased the remaining Hambrick estate in 1954, is a one story columned porch home. It was originally located in central Tyler, run down and earmarked for destruction to make room for a parking lot. This grand home was rescued by Mrs. Windsor in the 1950’s and moved to her beloved Roseland Plantation. The house has been restored and renovated twice and is elegantly decorated and furnished in period antiques throughout.
The Windsor House has a fully covered porch shaded by surrounding crape myrtles, magnolias, Bradford pears and numerous pecan and dogwood trees. When a guest enters the front door they are greeted by a grand entry hall. The common areas within the home expand guests’ experience beyond the bedroom and breakfast dining areas in the sunlit parlor and the impressive library - each with wood burning fireplaces and furnished in period antiques and accessories. Guests will find refreshments of coffee, ice, soda and bottled water in the butler’s pantry round the clock at the end of the main hall. Sit on the front porch in our rocking chairs, sip on lemonade and let time slowly pass by with a loved one.

Common rooms, porches, gazebo and gardens in and around the ballroom and Windsor House are perfect for breakout sessions. Our luxurious Bed and Breakfast provides relaxing accommodations for out of town participants. Available for business meetings Monday through Thursday, 7 AM to 5:30 PM. Fridays available for business meetings that are two or more consecutive days.
