you will find restaurants and the Festival Hill concert hall.

This authentic German "Sunday Haus" is nestled under cedar and oak trees, giving complete privacy and spiritual comfort. The entire house is yours to enjoy. The fully functional kitchen, with coffeemaker, microwave oven and refrigerator, comes stocked. Complete with central air and heat, DVD, radio, CD library, bathroom with shower and antique clawfoot bathtub, 2 bedrooms with queen beds and 2 single beds, can sleep 5 guests. Relax on the wrap-around porch or enjoy the nature walks, pond, outside Jacuzzi and firepit.

In 2002, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department awarded Elisa the official
Texas Wildscape certification for her garden and 4 acres of wooded land.

The Ghost Haus dates back to the 1870's. The front porch swing is an ideal place for experiencing the sights and sounds of nature and for stargazing at night. The Ghost Haus has a large wood-burning fireplace and a beautiful kitchen. The house can accommodate up to 5 people with 3 single beds upstairs in one large bedroom and a trundle bed which makes one queen or two twin-size beds, downstairs. In the pioneer tradition, the luxurious bathhouse is just a few steps away from the house, conveniently connected by a deck.

Reservations & Policies:
  • Two Persons $180 per night + tax.
  • Each additional person (maximum 6) $40 per night + tax.
  • Ghost Haus: Two Persons $180 per night + tax.
  • Each additional person (maximum 5) $ 40 per night + tax.
  • Check-in: 3 p.m.
  • Check-out: Noon Can be extended upon request.
  • Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit equal to 50% of entire stay.
  • The balance is payable at check-in.
  • If you notify us two weeks in advance, we would be happy to credit your deposit to another visit within 6 months or refund your deposit less a $40 fee.
  • No refund is made within 2 weeks of your scheduled arrival unless the rooms are rebooked.
  • Special restrictions for Antique Fair Bookings.
  • We accept checks, cash, and credit cards (paypal).
  • Smoking is limited to outside areas.
